It’s Giancarlo & Lola’s idea: for them, as for any Italian, coffee is a serious business. And that’s exactly why they founded their own coffee company: ORCA Coffee. They produce their coffee as an actual masterpiece: “We select beans from a limited number of plantations; we blend, roast, grind the coffee in our own factory in Tuscany, Italy and then air seal it in our pods to maintain quality, freshness and taste.”

COMMpla created a new e-commerce platform based on Prestashop specifically for ORCA, developing an ad hoc module used to manage monthly subscriptions. Clients can choose the quantity and flavours of their pods with a few clicks, and the entire payment and monthly shipment processes are automatic. The subscription also entitles to have a free espresso machine.
Before now, there was no such a good Italian espresso in the States, and there was no such an easy-to-use e-commerce to take ORCA into every coffee-lover’s house.But that’s not all. Even the digital marketing and communication strategy benefits from an Italian-American bond.
